This is the starter’s guide to begin publishing on Amazon using Nembol. To set-up Nembol with your Amazon Seller account, you need to know your Amazon pro seller ID and generate a Nembol Developer Auth Token. Let’s see step by step:
You must be an Amazon Pro seller to use Nembol. Sorry, this does not depend on Nembol.
You can publish on Amazon only products with a valid GS1 barcode attached to each SKU, some sellers have barcode exemptions but this normally does not work via Nembol.
You can create new products on Amazon by using Nembol. In this case, you’ll have to select the category node ID. Click to read an article on how to publish products on Amazon.
Some users wish to import their content by searching by ASIN in the “Use your barcode” field in Amazon. This works on most products but not on all, and not on all Amazon locales, and it does not collect all product information.
You need to know your Amazon pro seller ID and type it in the login box in Nembol, together with the MWS token generated for Nembol by your SellerCentral account.
Your Amazon seller ID is NOT your the same as your Merchant Token. Here is where you can see your Amazon seller ID. You have to be logged into Seller Central. It is the NCID.
Step 1: Authorize Nembol in you Seller Central
Login to you seller central account and click on Settings / User permissions (screenshot)
Under “Third-party developer and apps“, click on “Visit Manage Your Apps” (screenshot below).
In the following screen on Amazon, you can either authorize a new Developer, or review the authorizations you already gave to Nembol or to other developers (screenshot below). You’ll need Nembol’s Developer ID which is:
6083–8223–8573 for Amazon.com and Amazon.ca
0276–9466–6122 for other Amazon country sites
Please use either without the dashes. Some users received a message saying the dev ID is invalid in their Amazon Locale, and the issue was simply solved by using 608382238573 instead of 6083–8223–8573, and 027694666122 instead of 0276–9466–6122.
If you click on Authorize new Developer, in the following screen you’ll have to give a name to that developer (for instance “Nembol”) and type or paste the developer’s ID, without dashes. As in the screenshot below.
You’ll have to accept Amazon terms and conditions to authorize a developer and, once saved, you will be able to click “View” to access the authorization token that you need to copy and paste inside Nembol login box we started from at the very top of this article. See the screenshot below.
Now you are ready to go back into Nembol and paste the Auth Token in Amazon login box in Nembol.
