Use Nembol to save a backup of your products

Overview

Despite being born as a multichannel listing software, throughout its history Nembol evolved to fit its users’ needs. Inventory sync, mass edit, and order management features have been added over the last years.

The Idle Plan originates from the need to pause the Nembol subscription that some of our users had. This plan freezes your account and keeps your products saved on our servers, preventing our robots to wipe out your data once your subscription expires.

When you re-activate your subscription, you will find your account exactly as you left it. Meaning that your listings will be available to be immediately published to any connected channel, including their prices, quantities, pictures, titles, and descriptions.

This turned to be useful not only for Nembol users but also for any seller with the need of having a backup of the products ready to be exported to a sales channel (e.g. a new Etsy or eBay account after a suspension).

Moreover, eBay users can use Nembol instead of “selling similar” or quickly relist sold-out items.

How to save a backup with Nembol

How does Nembol work: listing software & inventory sync

When using Nembol, the first thing our users are asked to do is to connect their main channel and import their listings. Nembol currently allows to export listings from 6 channels:

• Amazon
• eBay
• Etsy
• Shopify
• WooCommerce
• PrestaShop

Once the listings are in Nembol, usually a seller would use Nembol to export them on  Meta and other social media. At the moment, in addition to the channels states above, we integrate with:

• Facebook (Pages and Catalogs)
• A second Shopify account
• A second Etsy store
• A second eBay account
• Pinterest
• Twitter
• Tumblr

At this point, Nembol keeps inventory synced across all channels.

What happens when you cancel the subscription

Usually, stopping the subscription causes your account to be closed. As a consequence, our bots automatically delete all your data, any time after your account has been canceled.

But your subscription could have been stopped for any reason: you need time to organize your store, you’re are taking a break from e-commerce, or you need to have more products before jumping into the multichannel business.

Thus, we gave our users a way to freeze their accounts, instead of being permanently erased. This option is called the Idle Plan and it’s available at $9,99/month.

How to create a backup in Nembol

Being subscribed to Nembol basically creates a product backup ready to be exported. Imagine your Etsy account gets suspended: all you need to do is to remove it from Nembol, connect a new one, and list your products on this one.

This applies to any channel: eBay, Amazon, but even Shopify or WooCommerce.

There’s nothing more you need to do.

Product backup for ex-Nembol users

The Idle Plan helps you obtain the same result even if you cancel your subscription: your products are saved on Nembol as long as you keep paying this reduced subscription.

When you need to publish your products again, all you have to do is subscribe to a premium plan again and you can publish your products anywhere you want.

Product backup for non-Nembol users

Let’s assume you are interested neither in multichannel listing (we don’t know why you shouldn’t be, it’s really easy with Nembol and it helps you grow sales) nor in our inventory sync function. Can you still use our product backup service?

Yes, of course. All you have to do is subscribe once to a plan large enough to hold your products. Then connect your source channel and simply run an import. Your products will be stored in Nembol.

Exactly like above, all you need to do is subscribe again to a premium plan to be able to export your products to one or more channels.
